The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health and the Office of Minority Health are seeking community-led strategies and tools to address health disparities in communities disproportionately impacted by environmental risks and hazards including those related to climate change.

Community Energy Innovation Prize
U.S. Department of Energy - Deadline 2/2/2024 
Funds, through the Clean Energy Ecosystem Track, community-led projects across a wide range of clean energy initiatives, technologies, and areas of focus that advance local clean energy transitions. Private nonprofit organizations are among those eligible to apply.

U.S. Department of Energy - Deadline 4/12/2024 
Supports communities to identify and implement innovative clean energy solutions in a way that works for their unique needs and challenges. Disadvantaged and energy-burdened communities are of particular focus. The competition is open to nonprofits, economic development organizations, and others with a history of successful participatory community-based initiatives.

Community Change Grant Program - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency - Deadline 11/21/2024 - Funding Opportunity Number: EPA-R-OEJECR-OCS-23-04
Funds activities that benefit disadvantaged communities through environmental and climate projects (such as reducing pollution or building community capacity to address environmental/climate challenges).  To be eligible, applicants must include community-based nonprofits.
