Community Economic Development & Healthcare Playbook

Learn how to partner with healthcare institutions to create career pathways in historically-disinvested communities.

Developed by NACEDA and Build Healthy Places Network, the Community Economic Development & Healthcare Playbook provides strategies, on-the-ground examples, and a 4-step pathway to partnerships. It showcases strategies that are working to create training opportunities, living-wage jobs, support local entrepreneurs, improve access to healthy food, and leverage assets from health institutions. 

Under contract to ICF, the playbook was created with the financial support of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Community Services.
